Sadly, insects are in decline worldwide. This event is part of the High Line's nationwide Insectageddon festival, an artwork envisioned by Cecilia Vicuña that will feature events hosted by site partners around the world celebrating insects and raising awareness about their critical role in our many ecosystems.
Presenting organizations for Insectageddon-Buffalo include the Buffalo Museum of Science, Eastern Monarch Butterfly, Just Buffalo Literary Center, the Old First Ward Community Center, The Riverline, and the Western New York Land Conservancy.
