I paid my ticket. Why did I receive a bill?

Look at the bottom line on our bill, entitled "Notice of Impending Judgement." You will see a box listing information pertaining to the summons. Look over to the box entitled "Amount Paid." If the amount in the box corresponds to the amount you paid, you are being billed for one of the following:

  • Your payment was late and penalties have been assessed.
  • You did not pay the proper fine amount.
