Buffalo, NY--- Mayor Byron W. Brown today unveiled a new addition to the City Hall Selfie Station, a destination that continues to attract Buffalo Bills fans ahead of their game against the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional Round Matchup this Saturday, January 16th, at 8:15pm. The new bollards in front of Buffalo City Hall have been transformed into giant “Bill-ards,” a new, fun element for fans to incorporate into their photos to submit as part of Mayor Brown’s Selfie Challenge. Mayor Brown is calling on Bills Mafia to take unique, safe selfies to meet a goal of collecting 2,021 photos as a special tribute to the AFC East Champion’s winning season.

Mayor Brown stated, “The excitement of the City Hall Selfie Station continues to grow and I am pleased to see so many residents and visitors participating in this one-of-a-kind tribute to our Buffalo Bills. I want to extend a special thank you to ZUBAZ (Comet Clothing Company) and its founder and CEO Bob Truax, for partnering with the City of Buffalo on the banners which feature the fan-favorite ZUBAZ zebra-pattern. Go Bills!”

Recognizing great service: Mayor Brown gives Bills tickets to two essential workers

Mayor Brown today announced that he gave away the Bills playoff tickets he purchased to two Buffalo Sewer Authority employees, who will now join the more than 6,700 spectators at Bills Stadium in Orchard Park for Saturday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. The recipients of the tickets were Nick Shubbuck and Sam Lozada.

Mayor Brown stated, “Nick Shubbuck and Sam Lozada of the Buffalo Sewer Authority are both well known as team players with a strong work ethic that put the needs of the community above their own. They serve as an example of the many hardworking essential workers we have in City government who continue to keep our City moving forward during the ongoing COVID-19 emergency.”


Mayor Brown emphasizes safety ahead of Bills game

Mayor Brown today unveiled the latest Public Service Announcement (PSA) urging residents to remain vigilant by taking the proper precautions when rooting for the Buffalo Bills during their AFC Division Round matchup against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday. The PSA, airing on Mayor Brown’s social media channels and the Government Channel, is part of the Brown Administration’s ongoing response to the COVID-19 global health pandemic.
