[ARCHIVED] Mayor Brown Announces the Updated Bulk Trash Collection Schedule In Buffalo

Buffalo, NY – Mayor Byron W. Brown announced today that the 2020 City of Buffalo Bulk Trash Collection and Tire Drop Off will resume in July. Due to the COVID-19 emergency, the City postponed the Spring 2020 Bulk Trash collection. With the easing of restrictions, the City has been able to reschedule the service.

“I appreciate the patience of our City residents as we continue to work together to reopen Buffalo in all areas quickly and safely. We look forward to resuming the public services that our residents deserve and have come to expect, including bulk trash collection citywide, as well as a few tire drop off events,” said Mayor Brown.


The updated Bulk Trash schedule is as follows:

FILLMORE................................................ JULY 19

NIAGARA................................................. JULY 26

MASTEN............................................... AUGUST 9

LOVEJOY........................................... AUGUST 16

SOUTH............................................... AUGUST 23

DELAWARE....................................... AUGUST 30

NORTH.......................................... SEPTEMBER 13

UNIVERSITY................................. SEPTEMBER 20

City residents can dispose of up to 4 old car tires per event, at no cost, at the Buffalo Broadway Garage, located at 197 Broadway, between 7:30am and 3:00pm on July 25th and September 12th.
