Buffalo – Mayor Byron W. Brown today expressed his thanks to local food truck vendors who participated in another successful season of Food Truck Thursdays in Niagara Square. 28 vendors took part this season which began Thursday, May 2nd and continued through Thursday, October 17th.
Mayor Brown stated, “Food Truck Thursdays continues to grow in popularity each year. Our diverse group of culinary entrepreneurs gets another opportunity to add momentum, and a following, to their food trucks, while Downtown professionals and visitors enjoy additional lunch-time options. I thank the Buffalo Common Council for its continued partnership on this event.”
Mayor Brown and the Buffalo Common Council launched Food Truck Thursdays in 2015 with 8 participating vendors as part of a 3-month pilot program. This year, 28 vendors with a valid license from the City of Buffalo’s Division of Licenses participated in the program.
