The City of Buffalo and NFTA are exploring opportunities for Equitable Transit Oriented Development (ETOD) at the LaSalle Station site, which includes the NFTA-Metro Rail Station and the adjacent Park-and-Ride lot. The purpose of this project is to create ETOD that supports urban vibrancy and activation, innovative and attractive environments that foster talent attraction, intelligent technology and placemaking design, and affordable and accessible transportation. We want to hear from community residents and stakeholders throughout our ongoing community engagement process! Together we will have a shared vision, goals, and aspirations for the site redevelopment.
The Mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning will host several community meetings to solicit feedback from residents this summer and throughout the fall.
