Reapportionment

The Citizens' Commission on Reapportionment released their draft map of Council districts during their Public Meeting on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. (You can watch that meeting here.)

The Common Council's Public Meeting was held on Tuesday, June 28th at 5PM in Buffalo Common Council Chambers. (You can watch that meeting here.)


After careful consideration of public input, legal consideration, and demographical data, the Common Council discussed the reapportionment map during their Tuesday, July 12, 2022 Common Council Meeting. (You can watch that meeting here.)
 

The Buffalo Common Council will hold a Special Session to vote on the proposed reapportionment map for new district boundaries on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 12:00PM. The meeting will be held in Common Council Chambers and will be streamed on the Common Council Facebook page.
