The City of Buffalo submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Transportation FY2022 Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program. The application, Transforming Main Street: Building Equity and Assuring Mobility through Sustainability (Main Street BEAMS), builds on the preliminary design and community engagement efforts of the Middle Main Street project.
