City of Buffalo’s ARP Spending Plan RFA
The RFA application period has closed, and the city has completed the technical review of all applications. The City has moved on to the eligibility and evaluation process.
Award announcements will be issued on a rolling basis by funding category. A project manager will inform applicants on the timeline for awards in each funding category. Applicants are advised to keep an eye on their emails, as their project managers will be reaching out.
Background: After months of research and community engagement the city has highlighted several areas that can benefit from the ARP funding. The city issued an RFA looking for experienced community organizations to implement projects and programs in specific funding areas.
The funding areas include the following: Affordable Housing Advancement Fund, Neighborhood Improvement Corps, Community Food Ownership, Frontline Arts Organization Sustainability Fund, Public Health Equity Initiative, Skills Based Job Readiness, Neal Dobbins Restorative Justice and Public Safety Fund, Wraparound Services Support for Job Training Enrollees, Cultural Institution Support, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE).
