The City of Buffalo has developed a web based application in conjunction with idtPlans to manage our projects for plan review. Applicants wishing to utilize this system can do so by first registering with the portal.
Once you visit the website (click here for website), click “Sign Up” in the upper right hand corner to fill out the online registration form. After you submit the form you will receive an activation link in your email. Click this link to activate your registration. You will then receive a second email confirming your acceptance. After this is completed, you will be able to login and access the electronic plan review website.
Once registered, you can begin the application process by following the steps outlined here.
If you would like to submit your project ahead of this schedule, please contact John Caputo at jvcaputo@buffalony.gov or Mike Piccolo at mpiccolo@buffalony.gov for building code review and Dave Krug at dkrug@city-buffalo.com for land use review.
If you are not familiar with the procedures for online access to project data, we encourage you to contact IDT with any questions by submitting a support ticket through the Help Desk or by sending an email to the idtPlans Support Team. They will be happy to provide a online instruction or individual assistance.
