What is Citizen’s Participation Academy?

Created in Fall 2006, The Citizen’s Participation Academy (CPA) was designed to give City of Buffalo residents a better understanding of local government by providing an interactive forum about the structure and management of the City of Buffalo. It engages City of Buffalo residents in their local government by providing an interactive forum, learning firsthand about the structure and management of the City of Buffalo. This allows local residents to understand the various functions of Buffalo government; encourage continuous involvement; enhance residents’ ability to navigate through the complex system of government services, and provide an avenue for open communication with City officials.
