The Broadway Market Easter Holiday Shopping Tradition Celebrates Its 132nd Season

Buffalo, NY – The Easter season holiday shopping tradition is alive and well at Buffalo’s Broadway Market with 60 vendors on site this Saturday, March 13th, and every day from Saturday, March 20th through Saturday, April 3rd.

“It just isn’t Easter without a stop at the Broadway Market during the Easter Season for all of your Easter favorites. You can continue your decades long family tradition or create a new one by visiting the historic Broadway Market for the great food and entertainment,” said Market Director Kathleen Peterson.

This season 30 special Easter vendors will join the 30 vendors who are open year-round at the Broadway Market, offering everything from butter lambs to sausage to pierogis.

This Saturday, Babcia’s Pierogi, which will be offering their Reuben pierogi, made with specially-seasoned, oven-roasted corned beef and fresh barrel sauerkraut. The market will also offer a side helping of St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

“With no St. Patrick’s Day parade again this year, we decided to bring in some Irish entertainment with the Rince na Tiarna Irish dancers at 11:30 am. Followed by the Blarney Bunch playing your favorite Irish tune from noon - 3:00 pm.

The Broadway Market will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday, and Saturday, March 20th, and begin Easter holiday hours on Sunday, March 21st, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Starting Monday, March 22nd all Easter vendors on site daily, through April 3rd.

The Broadway Market’s special Easter Holiday hours are:

Monday, March 29th - Thursday, April 1st from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. Good Friday, April 2nd from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Holy Saturday, April 3rd from 6 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The market is closed on Easter Sunday, April 4th.

The Easter Bunny will be at the Market:

Saturday, March 27th and 28th from Noon to 4 p.m. Monday, March 29th – Friday, April 2nd from Noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 3rd from Noon to 4 p.m.

Saturday, March 20: Kristen Smigielski Combo, Noon – 3 p.m. Monday, March 22: Porcelain Train, Noon – 3 p.m.

Tuesday, March 23: Docenko, Noon – 3 p.m.

Wednesday, March 24: Carol McLaughlin Quartet, Noon – 3 p.m. Thursday, March 25: Jazzbirds, Noon – 3 p.m.

Saturday, March 27: Special Delivery Band, Noon – 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 30: Docenko, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 3: Special Delivery Band, Noon – 3 p.m.

The Broadway Market adheres to all CDC and NYS COVID-19 guidelines. You must wear a mask while inside the Broadway Market.

The Friends of the Broadway Market are still offering a limited number of Easter Dinner Baskets filled with popular holiday foods, designed to feed four people.

The baskets, priced at $80 each, will contain traditional Easter favorites, plus some popular new items. Contents will include: Lupas Meats ham, Camellia Meats polish sausage, Broadway Seafood, Inc. cod, Babcia’s Pierogi Company pierogi, Malczewski’s butter lamb, Famous Horseradish horseradish, White Eagle Bakery rye bread and cupcakes, We R Nuts kettle corn, Lewandowski Produce asparagus and small potatoes, Deb’s Delights jam and Strawberry Island Chocolates candy.

Only 100 of the special Easter baskets will be available, so order early!
