The Easter tradition at The Broadway Market kicks off tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a variety of Easter foods and goods vendors. Easter holiday vendors will also be open on Saturday, March 13th, with the Easter Shopping season moving into full swing March 20 through April 3, 2021. Special entertainment and Easter Bunny visits will be announced soon.
New for the 2021 Easter season will be limited-edition Easter Dinner Baskets filled with popular holiday foods, designed to feed four people.
The baskets, priced at $80 each, will contain traditional Easter favorites, plus some popular new items. Contents will include: Lupas Meats ham, Camellia Meats polish sausage, Broadway Seafood, Inc. cod, Babcia’s Pierogi Company pierogi, Malczewski’s butter lamb, Famous Horseradish horseradish, White Eagle Bakery rye bread and cupcakes, We R Nuts kettle corn, Lewandowski Produce asparagus and small potatoes, Deb’s Delights jam and Strawberry Island Chocolates candy.
Only 100 of the special Easter baskets will be available, so order early! Buffalo Police to Distribute Free Food to Veterans and Military Families tomorrow, Saturday, March 6th
The Buffalo Police Department (BPD) will host a free food distribution on Saturday to benefit veteran and military families in need. The food distribution will take place in Niagara Square on Saturday, March 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The BPD is teaming up with WNY Heroes, Inc. and other community organizations to distribute food as part of the WNY Veterans Food Initiative. Proof of military service is required to receive food. To pick up the food, stay in your vehicle and pull up to Buffalo Police Headquarters on the East side of Niagara Square, adjacent to 68 Court Street
