[ARCHIVED] Mayor Brown Announces Suspension of Winter Parking Regulations Due to Favorable Weather Conditions

Mayor Byron W. Brown announced today that because of the favorable weather forecast predicted for the next two weeks, the City is suspending winter parking regulations on bus routes starting Tuesday, February 14th through February 28.

Mayor Brown stated, “Due to the favorable weather, the overnight winter parking regulations on bus routes will be suspended in the City of Buffalo, effective Tuesday, February 14th. However, should a significant snow event be forecasted for our area, the regulations will be re-instated.”

The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and adjust parking regulations as needed throughout the remaining winter months. Please be sure to monitor media announcements and BuffAlert for any potential changes. As a reminder, winter parking regulations on bus routes are normally in effect from November 15th to April 1st between 1:30am -7:30am.
